Park Royal Golden, Cancun Mexico
Recommended By Amanda from Toddling Traveler
Park Royal Golden in Cancun, Mexico is a family-friendly all-inclusive resort that is among the best cancun resorts for families located in Cancun’s hotel zone. It’s a smaller resort, making it easy to navigate with young children. In addition to the beautiful beach, there are 3 different pools and several activities throughout the day. As for food, there are several specialty restaurants available in addition to the traditional buffet and poolside cafe.
Park Royal Golden offers many family-friendly features that make it a great place for kids of any age. There’s an awesome kids pool and waterpark that includes fun slides, splash pads and more. The resort also has a kids’ club that’s filled with toys for all ages and activities throughout the day. Kids 4+ can be dropped off, and kids under 4 can play with parental supervision. There are family suites available that are great for families of 5 or 6. Additionally, kids under 6 stay for free, which makes it an amazing value for families.
One thing that sets Park Royal apart from other resorts in Cancun is that it’s part of a Mexican-owned hotel chain. That means it’s less Americanized, and it does a great job at authentically incorporating the Mexican culture throughout.
The resort offers a family package that includes activities like making a pinata, turn down service with Mexican treats and drinks, and a specially prepared authentic Mexican meal. It’s one of the only resorts with real Mayan ruins that you can explore right on site. Don’t let this Cancun family resort pass you by. Hyatt Ziva, Cancun Mexico
Recommended by Katie Holden from Katie’s Travel Tricks
The Hyatt Ziva Cancun is an all-inclusive luxury resort less than 30 minutes from the airport in Cancun, Mexico. This is definitely one of the more kid friendly resorts in Cancun. The KidZ Club includes daily crafts, movies, and even has its own pool complete with splash pad and waterslides. For adults, there is everything from fitness classes to tequila tasting. The nightly entertainment in the outdoor amphitheater has lively music and dancing shows.
Hyatt Ziva is on a peninsula so it has two separate white sand beach areas to enjoy. Due to how it is situated, it has an area where you look out to a very peaceful view of the ocean with no view of any other hotel — pretty rare in Cancun’s Hotel Zone. Both times we went, we preferred the beach on the north side. There we were close to Habanero’s (with delicious Mexican food and drinks — and swings at the bar!), the in-water hammocks, and complimentary stand up paddleboards. The hotel has 3 infinity pools. Kids love sipping smoothies at the swim up bars. There is also a pool that has a large shallow area for kids to enjoy.
Another highlight for the kids is the sweet shop which has a chocolate fountain, ice cream, cotton candy, and so much candy! Adults loved the full service cafe brewing fresh coffees. Eating at Habanero’s offers a great low key option for lunch with kids because it is outside on the beach. For dinner, don’t miss eating at the Hibachi bar and the Steakhouse/Seafood restaurant!
Rooms have solid balconies that are safe for kids. We have always been able to get adjoining rooms with other family members, too. Wanting to stay here for free or upgrade your room to one of those fancy suites? Make sure to use your Hyatt Points. You can get enough Hyatt points for 2 nights free when you sign up for this Hyatt Credit Card. Ready to book your dream family vacation? Royalton Blue Waters, Jamaica
Recommended By Harmony Skillman from Momma To Go
With so many great Caribbean Resorts for families, sometimes it’s hard to pick a good one. If you are thinking about traveling to Jamaica, consider the Royalton Blue Waters for your stay!
The Royalton Blue Waters is actually two family resorts in one. The adjacent property, the White Sands is a great choice as well. The resorts share the same facilities, I just like the aesthetic and location of Blue Waters better.
What my family loved about visiting Royalton Blue Waters – short ride from Montego Bay airport (about 30 minutes) and so much to do on property! The resort is also big enough to have so many things to do, but not too big that you can’t walk the property. Royalton Blue Waters is the perfect size resort for families.
At White Sands/Blue Waters, there is a beautiful stretch of beach, with great water for swimming. But what families will love – there is a full waterpark at the resort! For the bigger kids (and adults) there are four thrilling waterslides. For the little ones, there is a splash park.
When not in the waterpark, Blue Waters has a family friendly swim up bar with kiddie cocktails, a lazy river, and a kids’ club as well. The rooms are well appointed (and larger 1 and 2 bedroom suites are offered) and the food was great – both in quality and variety.
We loved our stay at Blue Waters and cannot wait to return soon! Click here to see more reviews of Royalton Blue Waters.

Beaches Resort, Turks And Caicos

Beaches Resort Toll Free Phone Number – 877-401-2132
Beaches Resort Turks and Caicos is the gold standard for family resorts, not just in the Caribbean, but anywhere in the world! Located on world-famous Grace Bay, Beaches has calm surf perfect for kids, a huge beachfront with plenty of space, and the most comprehensive kids club I have ever seen! (You can check out Mommy And Me Travels full review here.)
Beaches has several pools, a splash pad, a lazy river, waterslides, and plenty of entertainment for older kids with snorkeling, kayaking, a surf simulator, souvenir shopping, and a swim-up kids bar.
The kids club is over the top with activities including snorkeling, soccer, and visits from Sesame Street characters. It is not the kind of kids club where the kids stay in one place the whole time. It is also open late to allow parents to enjoy a nice dinner if they wish. For older kids, there is an Xbox lounge and a kids disco.
When it comes to the rooms at this Turks and Caicos family resort, you can go from a basic room with a balcony to a beachfront house with butler service. There is every level of service you can want.
Beaches Turks and Caicos is that it is HUGE. This means there is plenty to do without ever leaving the resort. With this said, you’ll need to take into account the time it can take to walk from one end to the other. They do offer a golf cart service, but we generally walked.
One tip for visiting this resort in Turks and Caicos with kids is to try breakfast at a different restaurant each day. While the restaurant closest to you might be the most convenient with kids, each breakfast restaurant has a bit of a different menu (my kids like the French restaurant best). Booking Your Accommodations
There are many ways to book your perfect hostel, hotel, or vacation home for your next family adventure. Our favorite for booking hostels is Hostelworld. I love these platforms in particular because the constantly provide the best accommodations for the cheapest price.
Booking Your Rental Cars
Don't forget to book your rental car when you are booking your family vacation. I like to do this early as I find that the best deals are not last minute ones. For your European travels check out AutoEurope as they search multiple rental car companies and get you the best rate available without you having to do the leg work. When booking in the USA we like to check out Enterprise, Hertz, Thrifty, and SixT.
Book Travel Insurance
I have started using travel insurance once I started traveling with a family. Today more than ever, travel insurance is extremely important as you never know when something unexpected is going to happen. Our go to companies to get quotes are World Nomads and Travelex.
